
2Baba and Natasha Osawaru hold traditional marriage in Benue State
Nigerian singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia and Edo State lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru have officially completed their traditional marriage rites in a colourful ceremony held in Benue State.
A video capturing highlights from the ceremony has since gone viral on social media, showing the couple observing key cultural practices of the Idoma people. In the clip, Natasha Osawaru was seen being gracefully ushered into a gathering of 2Baba’s kinsmen, dressed in a traditional Idoma wrapper and a headscarf partially covering her face.

She was flanked by traditional dancers, clad in native Idoma attire, who sang and danced in celebration. Moments later, 2Baba made a lively entrance, joining the scene and spraying cash on the dancers as part of the festive rites.
The event marks a significant cultural union for the pair, following earlier reports about their engagement and upcoming nuptials. Social media has since been abuzz with congratulatory messages and reactions to 2baba and Natasha’s surprise traditional marriage.
