We Did Not Pay A Dime For The performance of Portable– Says NBA

The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) has reacted the recent performance of singer Portable at its concert at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The National Publicity Secretary of the NBA, Akorede Lawal stated that the association did not invite Portable and also didn’t pay for his performance at the NBA event.

Lawal said that the entertainment industry managed this year’s conference and the NBA’s headline sponsor brought Portable to perform on the last day of the conference, August 30, 2023

In his words, “The NBA didn’t pay a dime for the performance of Portable, the sponsor of our friendship centre did and we are appreciative.”

Lawal explained that the friendship centre is a place at every NBA conference where members are entertained during the conference.
