Singer Davido has reacted to Anthony Joshua’s victory over Francis Ngannou in the highly anticipated boxing match which was in Saudi Arabia.
Davido who expressed his support for Anthony Joshua even though he finds himself falling in love with the antics of the Cameroon mixed martial boxer, Francis Ngannou. The 30 BG boss however reaffirmed his love and support for AJ from the motherland (Nigeria).
His post on social media read, “As a Nigerian of course I want AJ to win … but e get one soft spirit wey this Francis get and plus his story again … u go come Dey use style gbadun him way!! 
But gotta stick with the Homeland 
.”
Francis Ngannou reacts to his defeat against Anthony Joshua with an apology
Francis Ngannou has issued an apology to Cameroonians both at home and abroad for his knockout loss to Nigeria’s Anthony Joshua.
Joshua knocked out the former UFC Champion in the second round, with Ngannou rendered unconscious for a short while before reaching his stool and receiving oxygen from the officials.
After the fight, the UFC fighter made an apology on his official X account.

This was Ngannou’s second professional boxing match, having previously lost to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a close split decision in October 2023. However, Anthony Joshua, a former heavyweight champion, now boasts a record of 28-3 with 25 knockouts.

Award-winning singer Davido has sent popular American rapper Drake who placed a bet on the Joshua vs Ngannou fight.
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido, has recently made a playful jab at Canadian rapper, Drake, following his loss of a significant £478,000 bet on Francis Ngannou defeating Anthony Joshua in the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing bout which took place on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Drake had taken to his Instagram page to share a slip of the substantial bet he had placed on the fight, hoping that Ngannou would come out on top. However, his prediction didn’t come through as Anthony Joshua knocked out Ngannou, winning the match in just two rounds. It seems as though Davido found Drake’s loss to be quite amusing as the singer had initially pledged his support for Anthony Joshua regardless of how much he believed Francis Ngannou was totally likeable.
Davido seems to be getting his prediction right and fans were also excited with many liking and commenting on his post.
