Doctor advises Portable to undergo brain check up following boxing match with Carter Efe

Nigerian doctor based in Canada, Arinze Onwumelu, has advised singer Portable to undergo a medical brain examination following his celebrity boxing match with Carter Efe.

The match, which took place over the weekend in Lagos, ended with Portable suffering defeat, drawing widespread reactions across social media.

Reacting to the fight in a video and post shared online, the doctor, also known as Dr Zo, recommended that the singer undergo a brain scan, specifically a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), to rule out any internal head injuries.

He explained that repeated punches to sensitive areas of the head could pose serious risks, including the possibility of a subdural haematoma, a potentially life-threatening condition.
