Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho appeared on the ‘Beast Mode On’ podcast recently and jokingly suggested that he would like all of his Real Madrid players to be eliminated quickly from the World Cup, so that they can have a full pre-season.
Real Madrid’s pre-season is scheduled to start in the second week of July. The first LaLiga fixture is scheduled for mid-August. The players who are still in the World Cup, such as Jude Bellingham, Brahim Diaz, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Endrick – are expected to have extended holidays to decompress after the World Cup.
