MANCHESTER UNITED have no plans to reintegrate Marcus Rashford into their first team squad next season.
There is uncertainty over Rashford’s future amid doubts that Barcelona will pay £26million to make his season-long loan a permanent move.
On Tuesday, Rashford’s X account unexpectedly retweeted a post from United’s verified account trumpeting their return to the Champions League and inviting supporters to sign up for membership next season.
Rashford’s account then quote-tweeted the same post and wrote, “Congratulations”, accompanied by a love heart emoji.
It is the first Manchester United related Twitter activity from Rashford for nearly a year.
Senior United figures still want to sell Rashford, whose salary will increase to £325,000-a-week in July as the club qualified for the Champions League.
